Appointments operate from 9.00 am to 12 midday every morning and various times between 2.00pm & 6.00pm.
Please be aware we are now CLOSED from 1pm-2pm to allow for administrative tasks to be carried out.
All surgery consultations are by appointment. These can either be made by telephone or in person at reception during surgery hours. The receptionists may ask for brief details of your condition so that they can direct you to the most appropriate member of our healthcare professionals.
You may see any Doctor in the practice, but are encouraged to see the same Doctor for a particular condition in order to achieve continuity of care.
We offer same day appointments but ask patients to call the surgery before 10.00 am. Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, you may be asked to re-book your appointment. We offer a limited number of pre-booked appointments, i.e. antenatal or follow-up appointment at the Doctors request.
An appointment is for one person only. If another member of you family needs to be seen or discussed, more time will be required and a separate appointment should be made. We recommend every patient has their blood pressure checked every three years.
These can be booked up to 6 weeks in advance.

Emergency on the day appointments
These can be booked by calling the surgery from 8.30am. Please be aware “on the day appointments” get booked up very quickly so call as early as possible but not before 8.30am.
We now run triage clinics on some Monday and Friday mornings, this means emergency on the day appointments are only booked with Doctor authorisation. Call on the day after 8.30am as usual and you will be given a “telephone appointment”, the Doctor will telephone you to discuss your problem and then decide if you need to come into the surgery.
Saturday surgeries are for Pre-Booked appointments only and run on alternate Saturdays at Desborough and Hazlemere Surgery. Appointment times start at 8.30am.
Home visits are for those patients who are in bed and too ill or frail to come to the Surgery. Home visits are not for patients who do not have transport. If you need a home visit, please try to call before 10.00am.
